Text entered in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, passes to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those queries. A direct message to us contains only what you choose to send, and we use that material to answer you.

Links lead to government portals, Tennessee and county offices, library collections, and outside search services. Information sent to one of those destinations falls under its privacy policy, not ours. The same rule applies to sponsored search results supplied by an outside company.

Hosting and support vendors process logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We also comply with valid legal process. Apart from those purposes, we do not disclose visitor data.
Our Data Safeguards
An encrypted connection serves the site. Logs are kept only while needed for the stated uses. Because the service has no user accounts, it holds no account password or member profile for you.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if a minor supplied such data, and we will remove it.

The Tennessee Information Protection Act, Tenn. Code Ann. ยงยง 47-18-3301 et seq., may give an eligible Tennessee consumer rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain certain personal data and to opt out of specified processing by a covered controller. Public records held by Johnson City, Washington County, another county, or Tennessee are outside our control; questions about those records go to the custodian.
